Thank you so much for the advice lydia! Although I do not use YouTube, I am sure there are plenty of other websites I can get help. I have only been using RS for less than 10 months, so I suppose I just need to iron out a lot of kinks.

    I Jarvis,

First of all, thank you for all the "likes".

Secondly, I checked on YouTube (You DO use YouTube, don't you?) for videos on decorating, and as I suspected, there are dozens and dozens on everything, from the techniques for color schemes to furniture styles to furniture placement etc.. I think watching these videos will be more fun for you than reading about them, and some take only ten minutes or so.  All you need to do is type in what you are looking for. Ex: Color wheel and decorating. I see Mum Dali gave you some advice on the camera, which is a good idea. I have been with this program for two years and I am still practicing using camera angles and even more so, lighting. Also, you should view the RS video unless you did already.

OK Jarvis, first of all: i started 5 years ago, same as you :) I never did something like this before... ( if you want, look at my first designs and you will know what i mean :) )  So, keep going and you will learn a lot from all these fantastic designers here in this community !!! I did :)  Just open designs that you like and than look how they're done, most of all focus on : camera position ( from floor to ceiling !! ) and also the angle... with the wide angle you choosed, the room seems to be small and low and the funiture too ! so i want to invite you to play with the camera... give it a try :) I hope i could help you in first steps, the rest will follow if you really want it <3 Hugs Dali , hope to see you soon <3
